Description
A George II mahogany Gainsborough library armchair in the manner of Thomas Chippendale, the rectangular padded back and seat are covered in a later pale green and gold silk striped pattern fabric, the partially padded arms and coiled acanthus handholds above down swept blind fretwork carved supports, lifted on conformingly decorated square chamfered legs on castors.
