    Low and petite Gio Ponti armchair characterized by pronounced/exaggeratedly sculpted arms in chocolate vinyl with button tufted details (ca. 1950s, Italy).
    Original spring construction present with the frame supported by hand-painted gilt metal feet.
    Vinyl upholstery was a later addition and is in very, good, vintage condition with a few scuffs to the back and a single hole to the front edge of one of the seats. Feet show minor gilt loss/light wear.
    Elegant, versatile design and small scale, suitable for both living room and boudoir use.
