Description designed in the manner of Andrea Brustoloni (Italian, 1662-1732) and attributed to the cabinet maker Valentino Besarel; upholstered in russet-colored leather with saddle-stitch detailing;  the scrolling open arms supported by well-carved and expressive robed figures all raised on faux carved logs joined by a similar stretcher; Valentino Besarel (1829-1902) was a Venetian furniture maker who was patronized during the second half of the 19th century by the Royal Houses in Europe.  Many of his creations were in the style of  Andrea Brustoloni (1662-1732)
