Eye-catching “Saffa” / HE103 Chair designed by Hans Eichenberger, manufactured by Dietiker in, Switzerland in 1955.

This luxurious chair is made of the most beautiful quality chrome metal with a rattan upholstery to the backrest. It also has the original leather upholstery to the round seat. It’s minimalistic design and beautiful use of materials make it an expectional addition to any interior.

In good original condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.

Hans Eichenberger is interior architect and designer. From 1942 to 1951 he attended an apprenticeship as a cabinet maker and worked, unsalaried, as a draughtsman. Since 1951 he has his own studio in Berne. Through the years, he developped drafts for different furniture collections and implementings in co-operation with the studio 5. With his designs, he is permanently represented in many differents exhibitions: MoMA, museum of modern art in N.Y, Vitra Design museum in Rhein and in the museum of art in Zurich.
