Italian Modern Ico Parisi Chairs in Walnut Model 869, 1960s
-
Description
Three Italian Modern Ico Parisi Chairs in Walnut Model 869 made for Cassina in Italy in the 1960s. These chairs can also feature as a sofa when put together. They are newly upholstered in green fabric (see reference picture). The details of the wooden frame are amazing and have an 'interlocking' structure. The seat is secured by a system composed of octagonal-shaped wooden struts. These are carved and cut out to interlock with the horizontal slats. The solid wood expands elegantly at the point at which the various parts interlock. This chair was also used to furnish Hotel Lorena in Grosseto. This set is in great condition.
Price is per chair. Dimensions are per chair. -
