Rare 1950s Colette lounge chair by Ilmari Tapiovaara. Executed in a birch frame with black fabric straps. Originally sourced from a private collection and subsequently acquired at auction in Finland. This rare design is similar in its refined spirit to Tapiovaara's celebrated Domus chair. A quintessential example of Finnish furniture aesthetics and craftsmanship at its purist.
