Description Jan Vanek was one of the leading Czech architects and furniture designers in 1910s-1950s. He cooperated with Adolf Loos, Ludwig Miese van der Rohe, Jindrich Halabala, Jan Kotera and others. He designed furniture for interiors for famous Czech writer Karel Capek or for Villa Tugendhat.
His Iconic beech bentwood armchair with timeless and eye-catching look was designed and made in 1930s. This piece was carefully restored: wood refurbished, new straps. There are more items available. Color of the wood on demand. Restoration time 2-3 weeks.
