Jean Prouvé Standard chair in dark oak and white metal for Vitra. The Standard chair is an early masterpiece by the French designer and engineer Jean Prouvé. Originally designed in 1934, the Standard evolved into one of the most famous classics of the French 'constructeur'. The seat and backrest of this understated, iconic chair are available in various types of wood, and the metal frame comes in different colors.
Price is per item. Current configuration shown is dark oak and ecru white powder-coated metal. Also available in natural oak and black tinted walnut wood. Bent sheet and tubular steel frame available in smooth powder-coated Japanese red, deep black powder-coated, chocolate, coffee and ecru color options. Please specify wood/color combination when ordering.
