A 'Duyan' lounge chair by John Risley, made of a thin iron frame with a woven rattan sling seating. The hammock-like seating is fixed with two teak slats. A beautiful chair combining Mid-Century American design and craftsmanship. Both a sculptural piece and surprisingly comfortable. John Hollister Risley (1919 - 2002) was an American artist, sculptor and furniture designer. -
