Description These stunning chairs were made for a luxury cruise ship, likely the "Isle de France",pr the "Atlantique". as the house of Leleu was selected because their name corresponded with the style and luxury of the time, and as well, the competence of Leleu always came up with decorative solutions for the constraints imposed by these oceanic giants.
These chairs have the signature Leleu "circle and splayed leg detail, and the Amboyna has been stained darker than the natural color of the wood as Leleu often did. These chairs have been sensitively restored and reupholstered, and are Model Number 3102 in the Leleu catalogue.
