    The Onassis chair was originally commissioned for a private residence in Acapulco. They were later selected in the NYC showroom of Karl Springer, LTD by Aristotle and Jackie Onassis, under the guise of their decorate Pierre Scapula, for their home in Greece. KS, LTD later renamed the chair Onassis in homage to the couple, who were much obliged.
