Condition: Newly upholstered.
An exceptional pair of Danish sculptural teak lounge chairs by Kurt Ostervig, circa 1960s. Solid teak construction with angled back legs and sculpted leaf shaped floating armrests. Teak has a darker color almost resembling walnut. Newly upholstered in a speckled salt and pepper soft woven chenille fabric with all new foam throughout. The fabric is black and a natural linen color. Tight upholstered curved back and seat true to the original design. Very comfortable and compact lounge chair. A rare and striking pair of mid-century Danish Modern lounge chairs. Reminiscent of designs by Vladimir Kagan. A fabric swatch is available upon request.
