An exceptional pair of Danish sculptural teak lounge chairs by Kurt Ostervig, circa 1960s. Solid teak construction with angled back legs and sculpted leaf shaped floating armrests. Teak has a darker color almost resembling walnut. Newly upholstered in a speckled salt and pepper soft woven chenille fabric with all new foam throughout. The fabric is black and a natural linen color. Tight upholstered curved back and seat true to the original design. Very comfortable and compact lounge chair. A rare and striking pair of mid-century Danish Modern lounge chairs. Reminiscent of designs by Vladimir Kagan. A fabric swatch is available upon request.
