Description | The construction of this set of 4 chairs and 2 armchairs was deeply cared about, and it shows in the finished product, even some eight decades later. The chairs were made and stamped by French firm Maison Jansen in the early 1940s in their pure Neoclassical Louis XV inspired style. The beautiful painted oakwood structure has developed a stunning beige patina over time, revealing the careful craftsmanship at every turn. Shown in their original velvet fabric, 2 armchairs and chairs being dark gray, and 2 chairs being light grey, all still in good condition. Each armchair and chair stamped JANSEN. They can be reupholstered if needed. Dimensions of the chairs : Height 35.44 in. (51 cm) x Width 20.08 in. (51 cm) x Depth 20.87 in. (53 cm) x Seat Height 20.08 in. (51 cm), and of the armchairs : Height 37.01 in. (94 cm) x Width 24.41 in. (62 cm) x Depth 24.41 in. (62 cm) x Seat Height 20.08 in. (51 cm). | ||||||||||||||||
