Description
Designed by the celebrated Italian architect Mario Bellini (b. 1935) who graduated from Milan Polytechnic in 1959. He was for many years the chief design consultant for Olivetti and also designed for other leading Italian firms B&B Italia and Cassina - among a long list of other international firms. This pair of "Amanta" lounge chairs are classic 70s and designed to be modular. Beautiful cognac leather cushions are supported by a single piece of molded plastic fiberglass on rubber ball feet. Manufactured by B&B Italia (C&B at the time). Can be connected underneath by a metal strap. Italy, 1970s. Price is for one, pair available. Condition: normal coloration difference with age and use, small surface cracks to leather.
