The iconic and highly prolific Kansas born Milo Baughman (1923-2003) became one of the leading designers that defined the American Modern movement with substantial collaboration including his longtime association with Thayer Coggin Inc., of High Point, NC. This five foot bench for Coggin has a simple walnut frame topped with three black vinyl seats that snap underneath. Two unexpected pull out shelves topped in black formica display Baughman's focus on good design. 1950s. High Point NC. Bench without cushion is 14" height. Shelves are 12" x 9.75". Manufacture label to underneath.
