The Colonial chair is one of Ole Wanscher’s key designs, drawing influence from British and French colonial furniture from the 18th & 19th centuries.
This elegant armchair was designed by Ole Wanscher and produced by Poul Jeppesen Møbelfabrik in Denmark in the 1960s. This model was numbered 149 and is also known as the 'Colonial Chair'.
Solid rosewood frame with the horizontal slatted backrest and rounded, slim armrests giving the design a refined appearance.
The woven cane seating and down filled cushions in beautifully patinated chocolate brown leather.
Marked and labeled by P. Jeppesen.
The chair and ottoman are in very good condition. -
