  • Description
This pair of lounge chair and ottoman is an elegant and comfortable evidence of the mastery and artistry of the Scandinavian cabinetmakers who defined mid-20th century modern seating. These pieces are of the highest quality, both in terms of materials and craftsmanship.

Scandinavian furniture from the mid-20th century revolutionized the history of what we consider modern design today. Scandinavian chairs in particular have become unrivalled references in it. Cabinetmaker lounge chairs may seem similar at first sight; however, each model’s individuality becomes evident upon closer inspection. In this lounge chair’s case, its voluminous shape balanced by the short, wooden legs stand out immediately. Its inventiveness bears witness to the synthesis that this chair has achieved between form and function, in which aesthetics and utility come together in a purely Scandinavian manner. The fully upholstered wooden frame rests on light, stained wood legs. Slim tapered legs support the chair in the back and front, which is very characteristic, especially paired with the ottoman’s bun feet. From the front and sides, the beautiful line tracing is visible, highlighting the gently reclined position of the back.

The exceptionally soft, premium alpaca wool blend fabric highlights the frame’s rounded edges and makes this lounge chair and ottoman ideal to blend a stroke of modernity to any space, with a nod to comfort and simple artistry from the north. From the frame to the upholstery, this armchair and ottoman guarantee quality and longevity.
