Description
A rare set of eight Hepplewhite painted dining chairs. Pierced shield backs with early hand-painted leaf and vine decoration with central patera and blue border on white ground throughout. Shaped over-upholstered seats over square tapered legs with painted decorations and stretchers. Upholstery in used condition. English circa 1800.
