Description
An unusual set of four George III period mahogany armchairs in simulated bamboo design. The upper section with open shaped ladder-back splats and turned side rails and nipple tops. The chairs are on four tapered turned legs with “H” stretchers and dropped in seats. It has been suggested that these type of chairs were used on the lawn during special outdoor functions. Today they would be perfect in a small breakfast room.
