Description
Beautiful set of six original, neoclassical early Biedermeier chairs from Thuringia, Germany, circa 1820.
Cherrywood veneered and solid, inlay on the backrest made with ash root veneer, maple and pear (?).
Lovely ebonized back decor and ebonized on the top edge.
Newly upholstered after traditional method and covered with fine black mottled velvet and keder.
Very good seat comfort, due to the big seat cushion and curved backrest. -
