Set of six Italian chairs by Arc. Vito Sangirardi for the Pallante shop, Bari
-
Description
Rare set of six Italian chairs designed by architect Vito SanGirardi for the Pallante shop in Bari, Palo del Colle in the 1950s. The set is made of sturdy mahogany wood. Its seat is made of white Italian fabric. The furnishings of the Pallante shop were all made to measure by the architect, in fact not if there are other similar ones of that production. The design of the sono is geometric and linear. A play of perfect joints in the wood determine the configuration of the seat. The shop's furnishings are also in the same line. The chairs are perfect for furnishing dining areas in mid-century style with a reminder of architectural cleanliness.
The chairs have some flaws but on request it is possible to restore them, for a fee. -
