Enameled steel and fabric, rubber. A rare pair of original Elettra lounge chairs by Studio BBPR (Gianluigi Banfi (1910-1945), Lodovico Barbiano di Belgiojoso (1909-2004), Enrico Peressutti (1908-1976), and Ernesto Nathan Rogers (1909-1969). The '‘Elettra'‘ lounge chair won the Gold Medal prize for design, at the Compasso d'Oro, at the 1954 Triennale exhibition in Milan.

Metal appears to have been repainted at some point and recently reupholstered. Upholstery has recently been updated and original Arflex label affixed to each chair.
