-
Description
A Swedish painted bench from the late 19th century, with raised arms and new upholstery. Crafted in Sweden during the last quarter of the 19th century, this bench features two carved out-scrolling arms with nicely worn patina, flanking a rectangular seat newly recovered with a neutral toned fabric. The bench is resting on six legs, saber in the extremities and tapered in the center. Showcasing a distressed light painted finish, this Swedish bench circa 1880 will bring a graceful presence to any home, perhaps placed in a bedroom, living room or hallway.
