Antique White Gustavian Style Set of Six Dining Chairs

Sold Sold
  • Description
Wonderful set of provincial dining chairs, made in Sweden at the turn of the century. Decorated with classic details in the Gustavian style, like a wheat sheaf backrest and supported by fluted legs. Woven cane seat was later white-washed to match the painted white frame. Some decorative brass toe caps are missing and may be replaced, but this does not affect the structural integrity or beauty of the chairs. Sturdy and comfortable set of matching chairs for an airy country home dining room.
