Likely one-of-kind walnut bench with notched faux-bois bamboo carved frame, from the master bedroom in the Penthouse apartment at the original Ritz Carlton on Manhattan's Park Ave. South.
This 1953 Robsjohn-Gibbings commission for the building owners personal residence, included custom interiors with bespoke furniture designs for all rooms. Part of a 10 piece collection from the estate. Interior still photo furnished by the Robsjohn-Gibbings archive. -
