Description A set of ten 'hoop back' or 'sack back' Windsor side chairs, with pipe stem spindles. Made in Litchfield County, Connecticut and used by the Swedish Congregational Church; as it was known at the time. The top ring turnings on the spindles of four of the ten chairs are 'singles' rather than 'doubles'; only apparent after very deliberate examination. This set of chairs could be ideal for usage with the knotted pine planked 'demi-ended' farm table that we concurrently offer.
