Creation Date Circa 1760.
Description This chair survives in remarkable condition and retains its full height. The turnings are typical of the Delaware River Valley for the period, but the graduated size of the five shaped back splats, and the shaped arm rail turnings and the front stretcher point to the shop of an exceptional craftsman.
