Description

Considered one of the leading lights of the Scandinavian Modernist movement, multi-talented Yngve Ekström (1913-1988), worked with bentwood laminated veneer technology starting in the 1940s with his 1954 Lamino design his most popular with multiple awards. Minimalist is appearance, ergonomic in design and full of light strength - the Lamino has been in continuous production by Swedese since its design introduction. This version in excellent condition with striped wool upholstery and matching footstool. Each piece marked Swedese. Later productionv- exceptional. Sweden.
