    Superb near pair of small 19th century campaign or marine chests in camphor wood.

    Very beautiful chests which can be used as end tables or bedside tables due to their small size.
    It is rare to find chests of this size that are furthermore in pairs Our first!
    They were probably used in the same room.


    beautiful and unusual brass decorations on top which is a sign of their good quality and provenance

    Chests from the English navy with their typical irons of this style of furniture and their carrying handles on the side

    The chests are made of camphor wood . This wood was used at the time since camphor is resistant to woodworms and has a good smell
