French Early 19th Century Louis XVI Commode

Description
An early 19th Century Louis XVI style commode hand-crafted in France circa 1800. This stylish case piece is made of mahogany and topped with its original shaped marble top that has incredibly gorgeous patterns and charcoal and black veining throughout. A bank of three drawers with trimmed paneling are all fitted with brass oval escutcheon plates and attractive angular brass drop pulls, each edged in finely detailed neoclassical motifs. Handsome fluted corners flank the drawers. The whole is raised on well turned and polished front feet and elegant tapering back feet. The sides are handsomely paneled and showcase the beautiful wood grain and fine patina that can be seen throughout the whole commode.
