Save for a few minor repairs made to the end tables this exquisite set is in original, vintage condition making it the perfect addition to any modern home. Constructed from a mix of solid and veneered teak and a honey birch interior this extraordinary case piece set is as functional as it is aesthetically pleasing.

Nils Jonsson was a venerated Danish designer who formed part of a movement known as Danish Modern. Best known for his large case pieces and credenzas he was respected for having an exceptional understanding of materials and an eye for the potential of the wood and the quality of the raw materials he used, specifically Burmese teak.

Condition Details: This exceptional teak tall-boy dresser, designed by Nils Jonsson, is in 100% original, vintage condition and has aged to perfection! The mix of solid and veneered teak composition is in very good shape showing only minor signs of vintage wear such as minor nicks and light surface scratches (which can be seen in the photos provided). With that said there are no gouges, stains or other signs of damage whatsoever and the old-growth woodgrains are absolutely stunning in natural light. All six drawers slide open and close with ease exposing intricate dovetail joinery and finished wooden interiors. Drawer interiors measure W - 33" x D - 15.5" x H - 4.75"

The matching set of end tables have recently received a partial restoration. The mix of solid and veneered teak composition is in very good shape showing some minor signs of vintage wear such as minor nicks and light surface scratches as well as a small burn (all of which can be seen in the photos provided). With that said teak exteriors are in overall very good condition and the old-growth woodgrains are absolutely stunning in natural light. Both drawers slide open and close with ease exposing intricate dovetail joinery and finished honey birch wood interiors. Drawer interiors measure; W - 17" x D - 15.5" x 4.25".
