Pair of Brass and Ivory Murano Glass with Glass Discs Sideboards, Italy
-
Description
One of a kind pair of sideboards designed by Karina Gentinetta and handmade in Milan, Italy by a master artisan and artist. Wooden frame is veneered in Ivory hand-tinted Murano glass panels with brass inlays. Hand-casted Murano glass discs, both solid and ridged, in various hues of soft sage green, aqua green, soft aqua, smoked, ivory, and clear adorn the ivory front glass doors and sides. Glass discs are layered slightly on top of one another giving it a 3D effect. Solid brass, half-sphere caps in the center of each disk hold the glass elements onto a brass panel and frame. Two front doors with shelves inside for storage. A unique work of art. This pair of cabinets is on display at the Gallery at 200 Lex at the New York Design Center.
