Small Aldo Tura goatskin parchment bar cart 1950’s

  • Description
Aldo Tura designs nearly always incorporated goatskin parchment, often colored as seen here, in a deep emerald green. This small and highly decorative bar cart, then, seems to be the epitome of a Tura design. The varnished goatskin parchment displays a stunning variance in shades of slightly blue-tinged green. Brass accents and structure play off the vibrant color beautifully. The result is a piece that has a sophisticated and sumptuous feel, creating a celebratory and artful mood in whatever space it’s placed in. Due to its relatively small size as a bar cart, it would probably make a better decorative piece than a functional one.
