Description
A French Louis XV style carved walnut center table from the 19th early 20th century, with a variegated marble top, twisted ribbon molding and S-scroll carved legs. This exquisite French center table features its original variegated circular marble top with serpentine accents, resting upon a sinuous apron, adorned with gadroon ribbon motifs and four carved cartouches in the center of each side. Each knee is adorned with delicately carved foliage, gently leading the eye along the four curvy legs raised on stylish turned foot. The table’s carving is very fine.
