Art deco macassar executive desk. France, circa 1940’s. This iconic, stunning art deco creation is out of this world. Rich, luxurious macassar woods with polished brass accenting. Unique oversized door conceals a large hidden chest of drawers for extensive storage and organizing. Right hand side features 4 table platforms that pivot in any direction for displaying collectables or storing other items. This desk has been masterfully restored by the Carrocel artisans in its original high gloss hand polished finish. All original components, brass has very minor scratching and wear consistent with age. Overall, in incredible condition considering its 1940’s origin. Original plug and switch not functioning, original clock has new battery powered mechanism.
