Art Deco Machine Age Lacquer, Glass & Bookmatched Walnut Bullet Cocktail Table
-
Description
This exquisite Art Deco Machine Age streamlined cocktail table was realized in the United States circa 1935. It features a "bullet" form ovoid top in translucent glass supported by a black lacquer apron that connects to the bowed streamlined sides (also in black lacquer). The base of the piece is composed of bookmatched walnut that showcase the stunning natural diversity of the wood grain, offering both striated and chevron forms. With its clean modernist lines and refined color palate, this piece is as versatile as it is aesthetically compelling. It would be a winning addition to any style of interior from classic Art Deco to contemporary. It has been newly restored to mint condition.
