Art Deco Skyscraper Style Console Table in Brushed Aluminum & Black Lacquer
-
Description
This elegant and dynamic Art Deco revival console table was realized in the United States circa 1080. Sitting on a black lacquer skyscraper style stand the console is support by two undulating stylized s-form supports that curve under the glass table top cradling it. These undulating brushed aluminum supports wrap around the central u form body before abruptly diverging, and spreading outwards like wings. The translucent glass table top is etched with frosted striations offering a rectilinear counterpoint (as well as a material one) to the round flowing lines of aluminum throughout the piece. With its iconically Art Deco forms (and materials) and exquisite attention to detail, this piece is as versatile as it is aesthetically compelling, blending perfectly with any style of interior from classic Art Deco to contemporary.
