A rare Design Institute America brass and glass dining table from the 1980s.
This very cool breakfast/ intimate dining table for four is an unusual design.
The "Circle of Life" table features a dramatically new design with an exposed cross of half circle rectangular brass tubes supporting four individual round glass tops (20 x 24") with a raised centre glass disc (23.5" D.) for serving or flowers..
A minimal piece of sculpture with a functional purpose.
The table is in excellent vintage condition image #9 shows its most serious fault. -
