Vintage Kidney Shaped Desk Attributed to Eduard Ludvig
-
Description
An outstanding vintage kidney shaped desk attributed to Eduard Ludvig, the well known German architect. This was made in Germany, it dates from the 1950’s.
It has a fantastic and very stylish design, the black laminated top has a kidney shape and is beautifully finished on all sides. The top has a built in tambour roller shutter front that unlocks and opens to reveal two well made drawers. The other side of the top has a built in open ledge that is sealed off at the back and side with the original woven string. This sits on four tapered solid wood legs designed to look like bamboo.
We have had this stripped and re-polished, the condition is excellent throughout. There is just some minor surface wear remaining on the black laminated top.
