    Rosewood console with wrought iron front, glass top and brass tips.

    Italian manufacture, 1950's.

    Painter, set designer and architect of great talent, he was a friend of Moravia and Elsa Morante, he worked with Alberto Savinio, Giorgio De Chirico, Lucio Fontana and many other artists of his time. He was called by Giorgio Strehler to create the scenes for a play by Goldoni which was the first of a long and prosperous collaboration with the Maestro. He exhibited in the most prestigious museums in the world including, the MoMA and the Guggenheim in New York, the Center Pompidou in Paris, the Pushkin in Moscow and the Vatican Museums in Rome. He designed various pieces of furniture, almost always unique pieces for private clients.
