Condition Good. Refinished around 30 years ago. Replaced pulls and castors. Some stains inside drawers.
Description This Sheraton 3-drawer stand was probably handmade by a very skilled cabinet maker in the Hudson River Valley. The spiral feather carving on the legs is particularly fine and the work of an excellent turner. The drawer fronts are solid tiger maple, the case is old growth cherry, and the secondary wood is poplar. The pulls are hand made Sandwich Glass reproductions. The table has reproduction hand cast solid brass castors.
