French 19th Century Large Empire Gueridon

A sizable Empire style gueridon table from 19th century France. Beautiful black fossil marble over a mahogany body. A simple apron showcases the deep toned wood. Three columnar legs with decorative brass ormolu capitals and bases rest on a three-sided, concave shaped stretcher shelf. The whole is raised on bun feet.
