French 19th Century Louis XVI Style Console

Description
This handsome French console was crafted in the 19th century in the style of Louis XVI. The original, worn shaped white marble top has a molded edge and is removable. Some stains and scuffs are visible on the tops’ surface. The apron features stunning cast brass ormolu- a twisted ribbon and bead motif, beaded panel borders, and columns inset into the corner journey dies. A single drawer is housed in the apron, fixed with decorative bail pulls and escutcheon. One key is included for the functioning lock. Fluted legs with brass capitals and rosette ormolu, connect with a lower shelf that showcases a circular design of inlaid brass beading and a perimeter of cast brass.
