This dignified solid oak dining table was made in France, circa 1870. The table’s impressive top is over 9 feet long and can fit approximately 10-12 chairs comfortably , pair with a bench for more seats around the table. 150 years of use have smoothed the harsh corners of the 2-¾” thick top, making it an inviting place to dine. Cleaned and polished with French wax paste, a rich patina envelopes the whole. Supported by two elegantly hand-carved trestle legs joined by a center stretcher. Whether you’re enjoying a family dinner or hosting a board room meeting, your guests will feel welcome and comfortable seated around this beautiful dining table. Built to last many more generations, with thick and sturdy timbers that can withstand daily use. Knee clearance is 26-?”H.
