French Walnut Farmhouse Server
-
Description
A French country house server from circa 1850 with a lovely patina in the walnut planks. The top surface is arranged in a breadboard formation and held with square peg joinery. A single drawer at the center of the apron opens with a turned wood knob to reveal its divided interior into four sections. Four square legs gradually taper to the floor, without the need for a stretcher. The balanced proportions of this console make it suitable to be of great practicality in nearly any room. Cleaned and polished with a French paste wax to bring out the warmth of the grain. Please view the detailed images.
