Made in Italy. The top is in glass with brass edges. Rare design. The base of the coffee table is made of sculpted wood with futuristic hints. The coffee table is ideal to complete avant-garde and very daring furniture.
One of the key points of the Futurist movement is the exaltation of the modern, with its cars, industries and airplanes, combined with the glorification of patriotism, militarism and war. Another pivotal point is the value given to impetuosity, even violent impetuosity as long as it is aimed at marking a definitive break with the culture of the past, considered boring, bourgeois and outdated.
Futurist artists, in order to render the idea of dynamism and movement, tend to deform images, as if they were running away when the spectator pays attention to them.
Styles / Movements Brutalist, Mid Century, Modern
