A cast iron Art Deco base with a gold gilt effect on the surface and repeated decorative motifs following the shape of the legs, supports a limestone top with ancient Egypt inspired carved imagery.
The table dates from the early 1940's and the Egyptian revival motifs are synonymous with the art-deco era, the carvings on the stone top correspond to Poillerat's frequent collaborations during this period with Hubert Yencesse, -
