Description
A rare side table attributed to Gillows of London and Lancaster having a specimen inlaid marble top rests on a conforming octagonal shaped case in rosewood with a single drawer on down swept legs. The entire case and legs are mounted with gilt bronze ormolu appliques. The spindle turnings between the legs and overall base design are typical of the 1820's output from the Gillows firm.
