Description This vanity desk and stool set are rendered in monochromatic black, created by black metal, black opaline, and black piqué sellier (saddle stich) leather. The sleek look is interrupted only by small, charming brass accents—an apt choice to both reinforce the deepness of black color and the brilliance of the brass. The design is typical of French designer Jacques Adnet, who is known for his careful balance of traditional, streamlined shapes and avant-garde risks. Like many of Adnet’s designs, the desk and stool culminate in round, solid brass sabots and incorporate the piqué sellier leather for infusions of luxury. The set could be used as either a small desk or a vanity in a bedroom or dressing room. It’s incredibly high-quality made and is a rare.
