Andersen was a Danish designer from the 20th Century, renowned for his organic work.
He met with great success thanks to his suite of furniture named Capri, composed by tables in Rosewood and sofas. The organic forms of this furniture seduced on the international stage.
Johannes Andersen was born in 1903 in Denmark. After cabinetmaking studies, he received his degree then he worked for different workshops. In the mid-1930s, he founded his own architectural workshop. He began collaborating with many Norwegian and Swedish manufacturers, such as Trensum.
